On March 1, 2021, our first webinar took place: Partnership in the fight against NTDs in the next decade: what kind of innovation?
The aim of our event was to demonstrate the transition from disease-specific approaches to cross-sectoral collaborations and to highlight the importance of health determinants in the fight against NTDs. Using success stories and examples from our partners, the transition to the more ambitious strategic thinking of the new roadmap was discussed. Representatives from various sectors discussed approaches and innovations for more cross-sector interventions in the fight against NTDs (Dr. Mwele Malecela, WHO, Dr. Lutz Hegemann, Novartis, Dr. Alexander Schulze, DEZA, Dr. Peter Steinmann, Swiss TPH).
